Göbeklitepe inspired Music by Oytun Bektaş

A fascinating work inspired by the new album Göbeklitepe by musician Oytun Bektaş living in Australia  . Bektaş says that like the first humans, he turned his face to the sky, which is a field of discovery for history.
Göbeklitepe inspired music

I wanted to liberate with melodies

Göbeklitepe, located in Şanlıurfa, is also a mystical and fascinating place… Bektaş has successfully reflected the existence and historical mission of Göbeklitepe. While listening to the approximately one-hour recording, you can close your eyes and feel yourself 12 thousand years ago and take a stroll among those fascinating columns. Bektaş says he set out with the idea of an artistic description of the oldest known remains of human history: “It’s a very impressive place, like a door to the past. Under the influence of this mysticism, the harmonic structure of the album took shape very quickly.

Because it has its own feeling, a structure, and the fact that it belongs to a period that is not yet fully known allowed me to pour the obscurity there into melodies. By reflecting this obscurity and mysticism to my music, I present Göbeklitepe to the audience,I wanted to make the presence of the past feel and liberate them with melodies inspired by this mystical place.” Bektaş adds that he directly conveys his feelings, saying that he wrote these melodies by taking Göbeklitepe out of the perception of just a touristic area to be visited and focusing on the unknown of human history, a nothingness or the experiences of a DNA to which we belong.

The “Göbeklitepe” album is already a  film even entered the orbit of the company. Oytun Bektaş says that they are in the process of making an agreement for a film project. The album was symbolically printed as 50 cassettes, especially for collectors. The album, which is sold digitally and physically on Bandcamp, can be accessed on other music platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.

faith is grounded in the sky; Even when… Even though we won’t be able to find any evidence, I am sure that the civilization living in Göbeklitepe was also looking at the sky and trying to understand what they saw, maybe even understanding, and they were inspired by the stars and the cosmos. This cosmic bond I thought brought me closer to Göbeklitepe and I completed the composing process by enlivening the experience there.”

Aphorisms from Iranian Turkish Scholar Anooshirvan Miandji

Here are the words to frame and hang:

Hang it in the corner of your room. Words that will always be needed…

???Iranian (South Azerbaijani) Turkish and still living in our country, chemist and philosopher Dr. Exemplary observations about human and life from Anooshirvan Miandji (from Anushirvan Miyancı)!
1-?Brain is a hardware, every person has it! Mind is software, not every human being.
2-?The most perfect laboratory in the universe is the human brain! They synthesize by thinking what they want.
3- ?The first condition of being a scientist is to be able to boldly say what you don’t know.
4?A society needs those who read and think, not those who read!
5?The easiest way to get stupid is to stop wondering.
6-? It is not possible to produce a principled thought in a place where you can live with full stomach.
7-?Children reason better than adults! Because they have no prejudices.
8- ?One who thinks with two hundred words will never understand someone who thinks with two thousand words.
9-?Do you want great power? Here I show you that power! Imagination.
10-?If the child in you is alive, it means you are not getting old.
11-?If your thinking is poor, your other riches will not save you.

13-?Silent screams are more effective than loud shouts.
14-?Remove your tongue, fix it and put it back in! Because it is the root of all problems!
15-?A person cannot wake up unless he gives up what he wants to hear.

18-?Only he can prevent a person and stop him.
19-?The one who chooses the most difficult from the options in front of him will be successful.
20-?If you don’t give up, the truth will find you before and in the end.
21-?A person develops and matures not at the rate he experiences problems, but at the rate he solves problems.
22-?Don’t stop working on yourself! Otherwise, you will not be able to develop and mature.
23-?The farther you get away from the book and the library, the greater the ignorance! As ignorance increases, misery and disaster increase. What misery and disaster bring is pain and tears.
24-?Presenting immoral people as moral corrupts the morality of a society.
25-?If the majority of a society is trying to appear more moral than it is, know that there is a moral problem in that society.
26-?Maybe you are the savior when you give up hope from everyone and everything! There is another way than to be offended and accept and retreat to a corner! Combat.
27-?Societies that prioritize economic development over personal and mental development cannot be civilized.
