Haci Bektasi Veli (1209-1271): Khorasan Nishapur, (Iran). Sufi “Horasan Saints” Velayet-nâme-i Hacı Bektaş-ı Velî, Makalat – (in Arabic), Kitâbu’l-Fevâid, Şerh-i Besmele, Şathiyye, Makalât-ı Gaybiyye and Kelimât-ı Ayniyye, one of the leading representatives of Horasan Yusufeliism. Kalenderî / Haydarî sheikh, Islamic mystic. Lokman received his first education from Parende and followed the teachings of Hoca Ahmed Yesevi (1103-1165).

Therefore, he is accepted as the caliph of Yesevi. After coming to Anatolia, he was recognized in a short time and trained valuable students. Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli made important contributions to the development of the social structure in Anatolia during the establishment period of the Ottoman Empire with the “Ahilik Organization” to which he was affiliated. Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli, who spent most of his life in Sulucakarahöyük (Hacıbektaş), also completed his life here. His grave is located in Hacibektas district of Nevşehir province.

He created his fingers from Sitan, his chest from Iraq, his back from Hamadan, his zeker (genital organ) from India, his thighs from Turkestan, his balls from Constantinople (Istanbul). He created his knees from the soil of Crimea, and his shins from the soil of Antalus.
