If it exists through violence, that person is not good; On the other hand, the person who keeps the law, who exists intelligently, distinguishes right from wrong, is knowledgeable and guides others; Such a person is called a sage.
A person who talks a lot is ignorant. A person who is patient and free from hatred and fear is called wise.
He who speaks a lot is not a Sage.
The fact that a person’s hair turns white does not mean that he is worthy of respect; He may be too old, but he is called aged.
A person who behaves rightly, is virtuous, compassionate, self-controlled, moderate, at the same time free from impurity and knowledgeable is called wise.
The jealous, stingy, dishonest man does not become worthy of respect simply by talking too much or by the beauty of his appearance.
When the person who eradicates all these defects is freed from hatred and becomes knowledgeable, he is called wise.
An undisciplined person who lies all the time cannot become wise just by shaving his head, and a person who is in thrall to his passion and greed can never be wise?
He who silences all evil, whether great or small, is called a sage; for he has silenced all evil.
An honest person who is above good and evil, who lives this world carefully, is called wise.
If the reason for the silence is his stupidity and ignorance, then that person is not wise. The balanced and knowledgeable person who chooses the good and abandons the bad is a true sage; He lives in this world weighing right from wrong.
He who harms living beings is not wise; A person who has compassion for living beings is called a sage.
I find happiness not only through discipline and oath, by learning a lot, by being ecstatic, by sleeping alone, but also by abandoning and renunciating all worldly affairs. A person who has extinguished his passions is safe.

Buddhist scriptures teach that a wise person is usually endowed with good bodily behavior, good verbal behavior, and good mental behavior. (AN 3:2)
A wise person does actions that are unpleasant to do but produce good results, and does not do actions that are pleasant to do but produce bad results (AN 4:115).
Wisdom is the antidote to the poison of ignorance, which is one’s own choice.
The Buddha had a lot to say about wisdom:
A person who arbitrates a case by force is therefore not justified. However, the wise man is the one who carefully distinguishes between right and wrong.
A person who leads others in a nonviolent, honest and just manner is indeed a wise and righteous guardian of justice.
A person is not wise just because he talks a lot. But he who is calm and free from hatred and fear is definitely called a wise man.
If one is foolish and ignorant, one does not become wise by silence alone. But, like he who holds a scale, so he who takes away the good and despises the evil is wise; That is why he is indeed a sage. He is called a true sage, who understands both good and evil as they really are.
To bring out the original supreme wisdom (Buddha-nature) of self-nature, which was encompassed by the three dusty poisons (greed, anger, ignorance) that imposed on him, the Buddha gave the disciples the threefold training that was practiced by transforming greed into generosity and discipline, anger into kindness and meditation, and ignorance into wisdom.
