“Do you plan to make a movie in Istanbul?”

Answering the question, the famous actor Robert De Niro said, “I do not have such a plan for now. But of course, I think it would be great to make a movie in Istanbul. First of all, you need a script. I need a script to make a movie, which is not an easy task. Of course, I would love to make a movie here, but for this, someone has to give me a good script. If something like that happens, if there is a person I would like to work with, why not? Istanbul is an amazing place to make movies. I remember the Grand Bazaar. It was an amazing place. It’s really great in Sultanahmet,” he said.

“Will you be in Istanbul more often?”

Frankly, I always thought that it would be great to shoot a movie in Istanbul. It is necessary to keep this thought in mind, but the scenario is needed. In this, either someone will give you a script or you will write a script yourself. It is a job that takes a lot of time and commitment. It takes a lot of work to make a great movie. You need a script and a director. These are needed to make sure it will be successful. Sometimes it takes years to make these projects,” he said.
