How and why is thought a force?

Starting from ancient times, philosophers have tried to give power to thought by philosophizing. Philosophers who perceive and evaluate the world in terms of their subjects are knowledge-loving people and they wanted to write their names in history forever by expressing the solutions they found by thinking on behalf of humanity.

As a result of these efforts of philosophers, a discipline that we can call philosophy, that is, the love of wisdom and the love of knowledge, has emerged.

The greatest title in the world of science is philosopher. The adjective doctor, which is called a doctorate in Turkish, is actually the phrase doctor of philosophy, which is abbreviated as PhD in English.

What is meant here is the documentation that a new thought, a thesis, has been put forward by doing philosophy in that branch of science.

Unfortunately, we are not aware of the emphasis on philosophy here because we are alienated from the concepts. What is meant by philosophy is a new knowledge, a new thought.

The power of thought is directly related to innovation. What we call the history of philosophy is actually the thoughts of philosophers about thought.

In the works of the Greek philosophers, a great emphasis was placed on the subject of thought. We can even say that the basis of Greek philosophy is thinking and questioning.

“The beginning of an action is man himself. Detailed thinking is about actions that a person can do himself. Therefore, there are purposes for carrying out actions. As a result, detailed thinking and preference are different things, the decision made as a result of detailed thinking is a choice” Aristotle

“It’s not talking too much that shows intelligent thinking. Seek only wisdom, choose only honor. Thus thou shalt silence the incessant voices of chatterers.” Thales

In addition to the ancient Greek, Roman, Indian, Chinese, Egyptian and Mesopotamian philosophers, who took their place in the history of philosophy of humanity with the works of thought they created as a result of the act of thinking, the Turks started to create works as a result of thinking with the thinker and Prime Minister Bilge Tonyukuk, who produced the first written work in the eighth century.

In Tonyukuk’s Inscription, we see very clearly how the act of thinking takes place step by step. In fact, the work clearly shows how developed the Turkish language has come over time, how developed it has become with the first written work after the oral stages, and how clearly it reveals philosophical thoughts.

In the tenth century, the first Turkish philosopher Farabi, who will be known as the second Aristotle, the second Teacher. With the philosophical works he wrote, he especially focused on the power of thought and brought explanations, and he was the first philosopher to touch on the power of thought so much. Later, Ghazali of Khorasan created a work with a special title titled “On Thinking, Speaking and Speaking”, which evaluates reasoning methods. This is the first philosophical work in its field.

In the 17th century, the French thinker Descartes, on the other hand, put forward the subject of thinking as an essential quality of human beings and made his philosophy a striking title with the motto “I think, therefore I am”. The most notable philosopher in thought is the Frenchman Descartes.

The thinkers we have mentioned here stand out especially with their views that define thought as power.

Think, Tonyukuk Inscription

The verb to fall, which is used three times in the Tonyukuk inscription, which is our first written work, revealed the etymological traces of the concept of thinking for the first time. What is in question with the dream, which is at the root of the concepts of dream and thought, is self. Falling, dreaming, thinking, happens by itself. What is meant by falling here, dreaming in your dreams, means suddenly being spontaneous.

Thus, the sameness and self-righteousness in the essence of both dream and thought phenomena emerge. What emerges is actually mental products. That is to say, in the human mind, products in the form of dreams and thoughts appear spontaneously, appear spontaneously and occur suddenly.

Tonyukuk, our first thinker-writer, brings an etymological clarity to these two philosophical concepts, the concepts of dream and thought, with his inscription. There is spontaneity when the verb to fall turns into the verb to think, as in the verb to see. From here, we can clearly see the creative power of Turkish and how the concept is transformed with the addition of two letters.

The verb to fall reveals spontaneity with the addition of an affix. At the core of thought, then, is the self. Self, on the other hand, is one of the seven concepts of the Turkish wisdom cycle.

So when we think, it’s important that we are with ourselves, it’s important that we be spontaneous. It’s important to be yourself.

Farabi and the Power of Thought

“Thinking is the soul talking to itself”

The reason you feel bad or good is because of what you think. Because feeling begins with thinking.

Who is an ignorant person? An ignorant person is a person who does not use his mind to educate and learn for himself.

Intellect is the highest value that man can have.

A person who cannot use his mind will remain in darkness and will not see anything.

He is the human being who also acts as a bridge between the physical and metaphysical worlds, which is at the center of the thoughts of Farabi of Turkestan, the first Turkish philosopher. Knowledge, which is the power of thought and its product, is the most important quality of human beings. Man also cannot exist by the power of thought alone. It is the need for help and solidarity with other people that makes human beings. Farabi idealized the world state and holistic human being by raising this solidarity to a universal level.

With these views, Farabi positioned freedom (power of thought) and solidarity simultaneously in his philosophy.

Ali Gevgilili: Our Own Roots and the Power of Thought

The revival of the “Thinkers’ Forum and Thoughts” school, initiated by Journalist-Thinker Ali Gevgilili Beyefendi, is also an important wish of ours to open the way for development by activating the Power of Thought, which is the most genuine power in life.

Our own power of thought comes from language. When we say thought, what is it, it is written in the inscription. He says I fell, I fell from the mountains, I fell into the river. So how does falling develop, how is thought formed? It occurs suddenly. If you wake up in the morning, it suddenly comes to your mind. We will go from these roots.

We will produce our own thinking, our own sociology, from our own roots. The Thinkers’ Forum, which was first published in Milliyet newspaper on February 9, 1969 by Ali Gevgilili, one of the rare journalist thinkers of our country, is the most remarkable initiative fifty years ago in order to pave the way for development by activating the “Power of Thought”, which is the most genuine power in life. What we need is the enlightenment of sciences from A to Z, which we will reach with the power of knowledge. Our examination of the identity of Bilge Tonyukuk has brought us together with ancient treasures. Bilge Tonyukuk’s criteria and the concept of wise power are the guarantee of our living in the 21st century, which is the first step that will lead us to the third millennium, as a Turkish Century.

100% Power of Thought (Jack Ensign Addington)

The Power of Thought: What It Is and How to Use It?

The power of thought is the ability to create effects in the material and spiritual realm through the power of our mind. This happens not only through faith and imagination, but also through conscious and focused thinking. While there is no conclusive scientific evidence for how the power of thought works, many people argue that it has used this power to create tangible changes in their lives.

Uses of the power of thought:

  • Goal setting and achievement: Our thoughts can help us focus on our goals and find the necessary motivation to achieve them.
  • Developing a positive outlook: Focusing on positive thoughts reduces stress, increases optimism, and contributes to a happier life.
  • Improving relationships: Our thoughts can also affect our relationships with others. Positive thoughts and loving intentions can help us build stronger and more meaningful relationships.
  • Improving our health: Our thoughts can also have a powerful impact on our body. Techniques such as positive thoughts and meditation can help strengthen our immune system and prevent stress-related illnesses.

To use the power of thought:

  • Set your goals: Clearly define what you want to achieve.
  • Focus on positive thoughts: Push negative thoughts out of your mind and imagine that you are achieving your goals.
  • Visualization: Create vivid and detailed mental pictures that show you’ve achieved your goals.
  • Meditation: Meditating can help you calm your mind and focus on your thoughts.
  • Repetition: Repeating positive affirmations and beliefs can help you reprogram your subconscious and achieve your goals.
  • The power of thought has the potential to create change in many areas of our lives. By consciously using this power, it is possible to live a happier, healthier, and more successful life.

The truest power in life is the Power of Thought.

“The fact that the intellectual common set of East and West is used so effectively by these two countries (Britain and Russia) allows us to understand their diplomatic, anthropological, intelligence and military success. In this sense, British and Russian thinkers still maintain their treasure qualities.

When the intellectual world of the West is analyzed, it is clear that the German, French, British and Russian successes are not accidental. What the Westerners are doing is actually simple: To adapt the Turkish-Islamic thinkers and statesmen who have made the rise of the Turks and the Islamic geography by studying them well, and to strengthen their states by using the science they have obtained.

The British made great efforts in this regard, while the Russians, on the other hand, made use of the great accumulation by opening their doors to unknown thinkers, scientists and other elites, but definitely not coup plotters and enemies of the state, who were pushed and pushed by the dominant Turks in their interior and neighboring geographies, and by establishing a rational partnership. At the same time, both powers have serious problems and are struggling to overcome them.” Source: Bear (4) http://www.gunes.com/yazarlar/omer-ozkaya/ayi-4-813855

Gram Value of Thought

So how is thought valued?

In the United States, the country where thought is the most valuable in the world, the gram value of the iPhone is $ 3.77. With its plurality of thought and its richness and equality, it is actually a collective product, a collective achievement, produced with the contributions of think tanks in the country. Turkey’s export value is 1.44 dollars per kilo. This comparison has brought the dimensions of the value given to thought and the dimensions of worthlessness and indifference very well before our eyes.

Of course, how does America provide this, it constantly sends projects to think tanks, it says prepare your thoughts on this subject, projects are sent to many think tanks, they are paid for and financed. What does he want to see, what different ideas have been produced, he wants to see them, because he will go to a synthesis of these differences, and in this way, he keeps himself alive and alive and attracts the most well-equipped people from various parts of the world to his country.

In the depth of time, in the vastness of the grounds, the thoughts accumulated in the mind, which is constantly in motion, are of only value.

Of course, isn’t it a way of thinking in the form of “let me get into the eyes of my supervisor, the boss, let me do what he says”, then you will have copied, you will have acted within the chain of command, this is what he says in the military order, but there is no such copying in civilian life

Levent Ağaoğlu is a poet-thinker who loves poetry and prefers to take action by generating ideas. He cares about the sine qua non of the dream dimension at the core of the act of thought; He likes to enrich and diversify his power of thought with his imagination. He set his heart on developing an idea of Aghasophia from the sameness in the dictionary meanings of Hagia Sophia and Kutadgu Bilig. He likes to go to bed with the idea and wake up with the poem.

The main thing is to be ourselves. “The Power of Thought”.

I developed a three-dimensional vision model. Wisdom, leadership, the outside world. I believe that the different perspectives between the angles of this triangle are productive. It is a fundamental principle of mine that the greatest talent of man is the power of thought.

Listening, speaking, hearing, reading, writing, asking are our most important sources of information in the information system.

It is critical to listen and then speak about the act of thinking. The thoughts accumulated in the mind with listening and reading also emerge by speaking. https://www.booksonturkey.com/bilgi-dusunce-dinleme-konusma-yazma/

From a broad perspective, I wish to serve all sectors, our people in all age groups, without discrimination, with the power of thought and the rich accumulation of lived experiences.

Language, Thought and Philosophy

“You are quite right in your thoughts. I really liked the combination of philosophy and language, especially your reconciliation of our proverbs with Turkish Philosophy. My late father was also aware of this vast language treasure and always used to say, “I will rule this country with our proverbs”, so he goes to the same door as you. You are quite right, there is no philosophy without a deep language, and without philosophy there is neither art nor science…” Prof. Dr. Serdar Çelebi

“The Power of Language” is the cover of a book by Nermi Uygur, one of our great philosophers. “The Power of Language” is a work of language that aims to articulate the language, which has been at the forefront of Nermi Uygur’s writing agenda from the very beginning. Source: Nermi Uygur, The Power of Language. Istanbul, Yapı ve Kredi Publications, 2015

“The Power of Language” facilitates the emergence of thoughts, the expression in the inscriptions, and makes thought a power.

The word THOUGHT is derived from the roots DREAM, (tüş in old Turkish; falling, suddenly appearing, product, nut, reward, appearing) and DÜŞÜN, (dream-ü-n/düşün; informational impression produced instantly) from the roots and gained the meanings of self-dropping, self-falling, revealing an object in its own memory, giving birth, downloading it to memory, producing. All the meanings contained in the root of dream are present in the act of thinking. Source: İsmet Zeki Eyüboğlu, Etymology Dictionary of Turkish Language, Social Publications. 1995

Self-righteousness and its sudden emergence in the root sense make the infinite influence of the power of thought unique.

To be in the state world
It’s a bit like an idea;

The “Power of Thought” is nourished by language and attains immortality when it is recorded in writing. It is living ideas that make man immortal. When the inscriptions, which are the first written works of the Turks, were examined, the level of development of the language amazed the readers. Starting from the Yenisei Inscriptions, the language of the Turks has left traces on three continents for one thousand five hundred years and has contributed to our “Power of Thought”.

Starting from our first thinker and writer, Tonyukuk, after the field mobility we have provided in geographies, continents, rivers, mountains, seas, and talays for a period of a thousand years, after the time we stopped and started to think in the last three hundred years, with a noble and prime power we get from our field riches, we should re-evaluate our thinkers and drop livable dreams and brand new and original thoughts into our brains and minds.

Thought, which is trapped in the brackets of Allies and Trustees, has been weakened, and our eyes have been blindfolded to contemplative eternities, and our brains have been dumbed. What we need are not false allies, ignorant trustees, but real thinkers full of “Power of Thought”. Our goal is to transform our language and our state into a global power by educating both thinkers and entrepreneurs.

***Processes related to Thought Production***

listening, hearing, speaking, seeing, reading, writing

Knowledge: Thought: Listening, Speaking, Writing

Listening speech: If you recharge your memory by listening, your speaking process will be easier. If you switch to speaking without the accumulation of listening, you will have a hard time. It is listening that triggers both speech and thinking. My own experience proves this to me over and over again.

Yes, sir, thank you very much. We have two last questions from our listeners. Question: Levent Ağaoğlu gentleman says, dear teacher, is the degree of listening, hearing, speaking, seeing, reading, writing of the processes in thought production equally weighted or are some processes more effective

Yes, I would like to thank Mr. Levent. He reminded me again of his writing on social media.

Mr. Levent, there is such a thing as selectivity in the perception of the person, that is, the person who produces thoughts, some people learn to produce thoughts by writing, some people see that there is no standard thing for these people, for example, I reach new thoughts by writing the most, or I write a text, the feeling of writing takes me to a new thought.

Some people are able to generate a new thought while talking, because of the interaction, this is a process that is completely related to the creative memory of the person. You know, as they say, here is your intelligence, visual intelligence, numerical intelligence, verbal intelligence. In children, these educational scientists classify the types of intelligence that I think some of them sit down and reach new things by thinking, for example.

So I think it’s going to be different from person to person, because we all have different ways of thinking, perceptions of thinking, and learning skills, both biologically and mentally. Some of you, for example, say that the child has a very high mathematical intelligence, that there is a mathematician in his mother, father or family because of his numerical memory and numerical intelligence.

In this respect, I don’t know such a standard thing, it is not my area of expertise, but I say it based on my experience so far. Today, at a point of support for you, for example, I express it much more easily when writing with a pen, that is, when writing with a pen rather than writing on a computer, much new thoughts, new concepts, new sentences come and come much more easily. For this reason, I copy some of my works with a pen like this, first and then I pass them to the computer, I think I am more comfortable. 2021 World Language Turkish Year Talks Turkish in the Context of Language and Thought Relations 1

On Thinking, Speaking and Speaking, Ghazali

This work, written by Ghazali while he was doing philosophical research, sheds light on many problems and debates at the intellectual level. In his work, Ghazali reveals the inner relationship between thinking, speaking, speaking and writing in general, with a philosophical attitude and method. According to the Arabic title of the work, these are understood as the achievements and ingenuity of the mind.

This book, which can be considered the first essay on its subject; It includes important approaches to existence, human beings and language, as well as offering different perspectives on God and his word, prophecy and revelation. It is a work that cannot remain indifferent to those who are curious about the different aspects of Ghazali, those who are interested in the philosophy of language, Hermeneutics and how the holy books should be explained.

Subsequently, mobile phones began to contain all the features of the computer. In this process, when reading has settled in the digital environment and e-books channel, the act of writing has gained intensity mainly by writing messages on mobile phones.

The act of writing books, articles, etc. by talking on a mobile phone is the fastest and most suitable tool for the brain structure of the human brain.

Reading Culture

Thank you very much for this initiative. I’m a writer myself. Regarding the act of writing, I discovered Bilge Tonyukuk 5 years ago. Our first author, this year celebrates the 1300th anniversary of his monument. He is also our first Prime Minister. The person who first started writing about the act of reading, I care about him very much. In terms of reading, I attach great importance to public policies.

In the UK, 80 percent of education is verbal. Who did this is the State. Since when has he done it for 500 years? Who made the English language dominant in the world, the state. How he did it, how he made the Turkish do somersaults, how he defeated it. Arrived. He opened the Sir James Redhouse bookstore on the Coral Slope and published a Turkish dictionary. He said there are two major languages in the world. One of them is in English and one of them is in Turkish. Then 90,000 words. This meant that we would destroy the Turkish language. Were. Our language is our greatest strength, my opinion about reading is our greatest strength, our language. Because our communication was in the steppes, in the steppes of Asia, of Asia Great, we communicated by whistle. Turks have a great genius for communication.

Why are we behind in reading, the lady mentioned. The gentleman also mentioned. Mr. Erdogan is genetic. Now Aydin’s genetics go to the nation. It goes back to five hundred BC. Thales, Anaxemender. The Chinese wrote a book. One hundred great philosophers in the world. 5 of the top 10 were born in Turkey. 3 of them are from Miletus. Now we will know. Why is the quality of education in Aydın and Izmir extremely high, there is genetic continuity? In other words, there is a continuity of this geographical genetics. We need to evaluate this.

I don’t want to make it too long. I attach great importance to state policy here, not in the sense of glorifying reading, but in terms of enlarging reading. That is, gyms are opening. So today there is a shortage of things. I’m not saying reading rooms or libraries, reading rooms should be opened. As soon as the state begins to pursue such a policy, the picture will change.

Our Director of National Education mentioned it very well. Education in our country is numerical. From the numerical, we are trying to make something reading, something verbal. No way. We need to do a somersault for this. Thank you very much for listening and for our seminar. February 11, 2020, Bakırköy Yunus Emre Cultural Center.

Freedom of Thought

Command and Memorization are the enemies of the idea.
The founder of freedom of thought in our country is Turgut Özal.
The 21st century will be the century of the Turks. Turgut Ozal
For the first time, a Turkish leader was talking about freedom of thought, giving us the opportunity to recapture our power of contemplation.

ALIENATION

Western (European); It has put the East (Ancient Greece, Ancient Egypt, Islam) at the center of its sources of contemplation and has carried out transformations (social, political, economic) by making use of these resources; It has created its own unique civilization. Whatever has happened has happened through contemplation. There was no question of turning into the structures in the sources of contemplation that he benefited from.

We, on the other hand, started to decline because we could not catch up with the transformations as a result of the closure of the door of contemplation, especially starting from the 16th century. Although Katip Çelebi identified and diagnosed the problem during this period and conveyed the solutions to the state, it was met with indifference. Çelebi’s point is how the West; If he used the contemplative power of the East, we should likewise study the methodology of the rising West. Indifference, 200 years later, has led to panic and resignation.

While we were aiming for territorial conquests, the enemies were drawing up the sociology, anthropology, mineral and oil resources, and maps of the lands we conquered.
They seized both the top and the bottom.

Alienation accelerated with the shift of the source of thought to Europe, especially with the Young Turks. The 1638 Treaty of Qasr Shirin (Iran) put a barrier in front of the thinker/source of thought coming from Turkestan. (Başar, Cezmi, Conference, Intellectual Movements from Tanzimat to Today, Ali Emiri Cultural Center)

At the end of the 1800s, the invasions of the Caucasus and Turkestan (Russia, China) further increased the interruption.

  • With the Egyptian Expedition (1514), the transfer of Ashari ideas from the South to Istanbul,
    • After the Treaty of Qasr Shirin (1638) with Iran, the Turkestan Source of Thought was blocked,
    • After the Treaty of Karlowitz in 1699, ideas began to be imported from the West in the 1700s, and
    • Russia, rising in the north, began to seize the Ottoman lands;

Among the main causes of dullness in thinking in all directions can be counted among the leading ones.

While many examples of thoughts and thinkers from both the east and the west could be given during the Founding Period, during the Fatih period, following the end of the Ascendancy Period, the eastern channel was closed and the west entered into a race to inject its destructive ideas into the Ottoman Empire. During the Republican period, the eastern canal was personally blocked, and only the education of western languages was emphasized.

At this point, the Turkish world of thought is under the hegemony of the West. Istanbul (Eastern Rome) is oppressed by the Latin mentality in the 20th century. The Latin mentality, which could not conquer Eastern Rome and the Ottomans, has settled in our lands and minds under the guise of Europeanization. On March 24, 2017, Pope Francis met with the EU leaders who came to Rome for the 60th anniversary ceremony of the Treaties of Rome, where the foundations of the European Union were laid, at the Papal Palace in the Vatican, and gave a wide-ranging and well-attended photo with the leaders of 27 EU countries and representatives of the EU institutions; It is the representative image of the Latin mentality.

The China of the Tonyukuk period and the Europe of our time are identical in this sense and are centers of alienation. Identity in Europe and the Slavs; while being defined through language (Latin alphabet, Cyrillic alphabet) and religion (Catholicism, Protestantism, Anglicanism, Orthodoxy), Turks are de-identified through both dimensions. Since the early 1500s, the European, Arab, Persian walls of thought surrounding us in 3 directions have gradually invaded our world of thought, our minds, and undermined our indigenous attitudes.

Since the Göktürks took the Silk Road route from the Persians by making an agreement with Byzantium starting from the 550s, Iran has been stuck in its geography and the revival of the historical Silk Road route in the context of Beijing-Istanbul-London starting from the 2030s; It explains how the Turks, who followed the Tonyukuk Mind, became the center point of this route.

Upon the cessation of the human source of ideas from Turkestan in the East, nearly 30 thinkers, starting with the Russian Turks İsmail Gaspıralı and Mizancı Murat, fed Turkey with their ideas in the 19th century. Thus, the lost weight of Turkestan was replaced by Turkish thinkers in Russia. Upon the loss of Rumelia in the 20th century, this time Rumelian Turkish thinkers settled in Turkey with migrations. Our thinkers of Bulgarian and Russian origin, who emerged since the 19th century, have increased Turkey’s intellectual power and ideas.

***OUR POWER OF CONTEMPLATION***

Intersecting areas, geographies, rivers, seas; Its dual and multiple geographies and structures have brought our contemplative power to the peak.

Our VISION is Contemplation and Innovation.

When we break our mindset that has become dull since the 1000s, we will regain our contemplative power in the first 1000 years.

  • 0-1000: 1st Thousand: Contemplative Power
    • 1001-2000: 2nd Millennium: Blockage in Contemplation
    • 2001-3000: 3rd Millennium: A Vision of Recontemplation

CONTEMPLATION AND REPETITION

Contemplation; In fact, it is a preventative of repetition. He who cannot contemplate, repeats himself and perishes.
With our own effort and mind; With our power of contemplation, we can give history a new and unprecedented direction. Although history repeats itself, it is in our hands to surprise history with our will and contemplative power.

CONTEMPLATION PROCESSES

The power is in the Wise, in the Contemplative. This is the message of our ancestor Bilge Khan over the millennia.
Whatever we do, let’s multiply our power of contemplation, let’s be contemplative.
Thinkers have always investigated the order of the universe. There are all kinds of sciences on the list; chemistry, physics, astronomy, mathematics, etc.
