Yıl 1641. Yani IV. Murat padişah.. Kitabın, daha doğrusu sözlüğün adı “Dittionario Della Lingua Italiana-Turchesca” -Interprete: Giovanni Molino. Basılan yer Roma. Bugün bile kullandığımız sözcükleri ve deyimleri Latince harflerle okuyoruz. İnceler misiniz lütfen!
Orijinal kitap Floransa’da müzede. Kopyaları var. Türkiye’de de yakın zamanda bu kitap basılmış durumda. Kitap Türkçe ders kitabı olarak basılmış İtalya’da. 1670’lerde yine İstanbul’da yaşamış bir İtalyan bu kitabı kopya ederek ama üzerine eklemeler düzeltmeler yaparak yeni bir “sözlük” daha basmış
Bu sözlükler üzerine dilcilerimiz araştırmalar yapmış. Dahası Hacettepe’de yüksek lisans tezi bile yazılmış (Fatih Kara, 2021).
Avrupalı, İtalyanlar, Osmanlı’ya Türk, Türkiye, Türkçe olarak bakmışlar hep. “Anne Türkler geliyor” korkusu dile getirilmiş “Osmanlı” değil.
“Türkçemizin Latin alfabesi ile yazım tarihinin ilk kez Atatürk ile başladığını zannederdim. İtalya’da basılan sözlükteki Türkçe kelimeler o kadar güzel, basit anlaşılıyor ki. Atatürk 1928’de yeni alfabeyi oluştururken 21 harfli Latinceye yeni harfler ekleyip 29 harfle, Türkçe kelimelerin İtalyanca karşılıklarının iç hecelerindeki iki, üç heceli ifadeyi tek harfe indirgemiş. Merkezine insan hayatının, doğanın rutin işleyişindeki ses ve görüntülerin insanın beş duyu organı algılaması ile benzeştiği, kök olarak yaşamla bu kadar birbirine benzediği bir başka dil yok gibi. Örneğin, bir güzelliği, neşeyi, sevgiyi, sevgiliyi ‘gül’ kökü ile türetmiş, gideceği yönü ‘hayatının kaynağı güneşe dönerek kendi doğal duruşu’ ve varlığı ile özdeşleştirmiş, işte “doğ” terim kökü doğaya, yaradanına duyulan saygının bir köküdür.
