2024 yerel seçim sonuçlarını izlediğimizde halkçılık fikriyatının önümüzdeki 30 yıllık dönem içerisinde öne geçeceğini tahmin edebiliriz. Geçtiğimiz 30 yıl boyunca Tayyip Erdoğan liderliğindeki siyasi ideoloji, ancak buraya kadar gelebilmiştir. Geldiği noktada ikinci parti konumuna düşmüş, liderliği kaybetmiştir. Bu kaybın getireceği algı aşınması artık son derece etkili olmak durumundadır.
Halkçılıktan kast ettiğimiz belediyeler üzerinden halkla yakın ve sıcak ilişkilerdir.
Bu ilişkiler neticesinde başkanlık sistemi de yeniden tartışılmak durumundadır. Cumhuriyet idaresinde asıl olan halktır. Bunun diğer getirisi de meclisin yeniden başat duruma yükselmesi olacaktır.
Türkiye‘deki bütün siyasi liderler başkanlık sistemi özlemi içerisinde olmuşlar, bahane olarak da bürokrasiden sürekli şikayet etmişler, ama uygulanan Başkanlık Sistemi neticesinde Türkiye’nin ekonomisinin geldiği noktada, halk iktidar partisinin liderliğini elinden almıştır.
Halkın ana muhalefet partisini liderliğe taşımasının arkasında yatan neden de budur. Meclis eliyle ( ki o da güya halkın temsilcilerinden oluşuyor ) bir değişim gerçekleştirilemediğinden, bu değişimi halk kendisi bizzat gerçekleştirmiştir.
Gelinen noktada 30 yıldır uygulanan ve belediyeler ile başlatılan popülizm hareketi bir nevi halkçılık olarak gözükmesine rağmen, 31 Mart seçiminde halk hoşnutsuzluğunu umulan sonuçların da ötesine taşımıştır.
Bu, ümmet anlayışının da aldatıcı olduğunu göstermektedir.
O halde artık gündemimizde olan Cumhuriyetin kendine özgü ve Türk tarihinden gelen halkçılığıdır. Bu halkçılığın temelleri de 1919-1923 döneminde halkın tekalifi milliye (milli vergiler) kararları ile bizzat içinde yer aldığı milli kurtuluş mücadelesinin içerisinden gelmektedir.
Türklerin özellikle başlangıçtaki dönemlerinde, ki bunlar yazıtlarda dile getirilmektedir, tüm bu yazıtlar içerisinde en çok kullanılan kavram halk kavramıdır. Kağan kavramı ise ikinci sırada devlet kavramı da üçüncü sırada yer almaktadır.
O zaman Türklerin temel anlayışı halkçılık temelli olarak gelişmiştir, fakat daha sonraki dönemlerde saltanat ve hilafet uygulamaları neticesinde geri plana düşmüştür.
Anlaşılan o ki cumhuriyetin 100.yılını aşar aşmaz halkçılık tekrar canlanmaya başlamıştır. Bu ise popülizm tarzı sahte halkçılık değildir, halkçılığın kendi tarihimizden gelen özüdür.
