Şehir parklarında Türk devlet adamlarının bilim sanat edebiyat insanlarının düşünürlerin heykelleri.
Türkiye’de şehirlerde ve ilçelerde tam olarak kaç adet park olduğu hakkında resmi bir veri bulunmamaktadır. Farklı kaynaklardan gelen bilgilere göre bu sayının 30.000 ile 50.000 arasında olduğu tahmin edilmektedir.
Bu sayıdaki parkların 10.000 civarında büyük parklar, 20.000 civarında ise küçük parklar olduğu düşünülmektedir. Büyük parklar genellikle şehir merkezlerinde ve turistik bölgelerde yer alırken, küçük parklar ise mahallelerde ve konut alanlarında bulunmaktadır.
Park sayısı, şehrin büyüklüğüne, nüfusuna ve imar planına göre değişiklik göstermektedir. Büyük şehirlerde daha fazla park bulunurken, küçük şehirlerde ve ilçelerde park sayısı daha azdır.
Parklar, şehirlerde ve ilçelerde önemli bir yere sahiptir. Yeşil alan ihtiyacını karşılamanın yanı sıra, insanların dinlenebileceği, eğlenebileceği ve sosyalleşebileceği alanlar sunmaktadır. Parklar ayrıca, şehirlerin hava kirliliğini azaltmasına ve gürültü seviyesini düşürmesine de yardımcı olmaktadır.
Türkiye’de son yıllarda park sayısında önemli bir artış olmuştur. Bu artış, şehirlerin daha yaşanabilir hale gelmesine katkıda bulunmaktadır.
